Intense, near Opaque with a dark ruby
centre and a magenta rim. The nose
bursting with ripe plum, blackberry and
cassis notes with a note of warm spice in
the background. Full bodied, firm tannins
well in balance with the opulent fruit on
this wine. Will be able to mature at least
another 5 years.
Cabernet Sauvignon
Best served with grilled red meat such as beef sirloin, or fillet, served with creamy pepper sauce, or a hearty oxtail or lamb stew. Will pair very well with mature cheddar cheese, Gruyere or Rocquefort.
